DADIU Game 'Infernal Logistics' Wins Best Student Game at Spilprisen 2026

The student-developed game Infernal Logistics has won the award for Best Student Game at Spilprisen, Denmark’s annual celebration of excellence in game development hosted by Games Denmark.

Created by a multidisciplinary team of students from DADIU (The National Academy of Digital, Interactive Entertainment), Infernal Logistics stood out among this year’s nominees for its strong concept of delivering packages to demons, the bold art style and the cohesive team effort.
Spilprisen, presented by Games Denmark (the national organization of game developers), recognizes outstanding achievements across the Danish games industry, from major commercial releases to emerging student talent. The Best Student Game category highlights the next generation of developers and showcases the innovative potential coming out of Denmark’s educational institutions.

The team’s producer Johan Jespersen from ITU says:
"After spending so much time together and getting to know each other so well, it’s incredibly rewarding to see how positively people have received the result of all the hard work we’ve put into our game.
It has been a project driven by a genuine passion for making games, but also for working together, supporting one another, and being a really great team. When all of that culminates in winning an award for Best Student Game, it shows us that we’re actually capable of creating something that resonates with people, and that our passion for games can take us somewhere truly exciting in the future. It gives all of us a boost, transforming game development into something we can genuinely see ourselves pursuing in the future."

Student game produced in only 6 weeks
Infernal Logistics impressed the jury and the attendees at Copenhagen Gaming Week last week with its creative design and ambitious scope. Developed in only 6 weeks as part of DADIU’s intensive production program, the project brought together students from across the country, working in disciplines ranging from game design and programming to art direction, animation, sound design, and production.

"With this recognition at Spilprisen, Infernal Logistics joins a long line of award-winning DADIU titles and further cements the academy’s reputation for fostering ambitious, high-quality student work” says Academy head of DADIU, Thomas Vigild. "For the team behind Infernal Logistics, the award marks both a celebration of their hard work and a promising step forward as they enter the professional games industry.”

As part of the award the team will be able to represent their game together with the Danish delegation the international game conference Gamescom in August in Cologne.

"Infernal Logistics wins because it knows exactly what it is—and never drops the package. Wrapped in thick fog, cursed radio waves, and razor-sharp atmosphere, the game delivers a complete, polished experience where every detail pulls in the same direction. Its precise design and strong identity guide the player through a tightly framed journey that never loses momentum. And beneath the eerie narrative lies a surprisingly grounded tale about precarious work, and what it costs to “just do your job. Thought-through, confident, and unforgettable—this is logistics as damnation, and it absolutely delivers.“
